Social media vs greeting cards:

1. Our  general advice is that formal events require a handwritten note. But for more casual events and occasions, send an email or text message greeting or even post to Facebook. Just keep it tasteful, OK?
2. Getting married is a formal occasion. So we have to e[press emotions in a formal style on a paper card.
3. Romeo didn’t email love letters to Juliet. It’s difficult to imagine that you can print  an electronic love card or letter to express love or propose marriage/ That wouldn’t touch the heart.
4. Don’t send e-cards to Miss Manners or sentimental people. They annoy people because they take a long time to download and for those who are sentimental about cards, they can’t keep them in the same way. It is an inconvenience and not very charming.
5.Words of sympathy, regret, or sorrow should be written as a sentiment  with not so many pictures. They are in between (digital and in-person messages).
 6. It is not a good idea  to use Facebook to wish your mom happy birthday. We believe she  dreams of  getting a personal  printed card
7. You should know where your friends are. You have to know  your friends’ actual habits. Some people don’t answer the phone. Others forget to check their emails.
